At Pure Café our primary focus is to maintain the safety of our team members and customers.

We have created a working policy where we are trying to balance our public responsibility while ensuring that our business remains stable. We will continue to update you with any changes. We are committed to continue to deal with this crisis as proactively as possible.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the individuals who are affected, and businesses whose trade has been heavily impacted.


Pure Café Kitchen

  • Staff health screening takes place twice daily whereby a digital thermometer is used to record the temperature of each staff member to identify any potential symptoms very early and take the necessary action to avoid any contact situations. Anyone displaying symptoms will be sent home immediately and advised to seek the necessary medical assistance.

  • Symptom checks are done daily, as well as ongoing education of coronavirus symptoms, OHS and government protocols.

  • Staff are reminded to wash their hands every 20 minutes.

  • The kitchen is deep cleaned regularly using antibacterial, food-safe chemicals.

  • Our staff have continuous health and food safety training on the most stringent safe hygiene measures.

  • We only make use of HACCP approved cleaning chemicals from our trusted supplier Dynachem.


Pure Café Customers

  • Delivery schedules may be impacted due to logistical challenges that we face and we request that you are patient and flexible as we may need to remain as agile as possible so that we can make necessary changes to ensure continuous operations.

  • Where possible, we request that customers place larger orders less frequently (ie. order once every two to three weeks, rather than once a week) so that you and our delivery teams are exposed to as little risk as possible. 


Contactless delivery

All Pure Café deliveries are contactless. Our drivers have been instructed not to make physical contact with any customers and to maintain a safe distance.


We encourage customers to use one of our other safe and secure electronic payment methods available online with credit / debit card or EFT.

Enhanced Hygiene Practices

We have been educating our drivers in line with OHS guidelines and have implemented enhanced hygiene policies. All drivers are temperature tested daily. Delivery containers are frequently cleaned, all drivers have access to hand sanitiser with clear instructions to sanitise their hands before and after each delivery or collection. Protective masks have been rolled out for all drivers.


Here’s what to expect when your delivery arrives:

  • When our drivers arrive at your delivery address, they have been instructed to contact you, and stand back at a safe distance.

  • The drivers will place the delivery container will be placed on a surface indicated by you. The driver will step away and allow you to pick out your order yourself.

  • The driver will then record your name, with the date and time of delivery in front of you, so you won’t need to sign any paperwork.

  • The driver will take the delivery containers and head off.


Pure Café Food Suppliers

  • We endeavour to continue to support our small, local suppliers as this is when they need support the most.

  • Furthermore, we will commit to pay as many of them as possible, on invoice rather than utilising our approved payment terms to assist them with their cash flow in their time of need.
