For the past decade, Pure Café has been delighting customers with pure honest food at its flagship store in the leafy green suburb of Colbyn. Over the years, the team has also made a name for themselves through catering services that are a cut above the rest.
Today, it’s this trademark creative flair for all things food combined with a passion for people that keeps patrons hooked on the Pure Experience!
An exciting new opportunity
Following four successful years as a catering supplier to the University of Pretoria, Pure Café gladly seized the opportunity to provide restaurant and catering services to the newly renovated UP Club Hall building.
It took a full year to restore this amazing building, dating back to 1930, to its original glory. No effort was spared to preserve its historical attributes whilst upgrading the facilities in line with modern requirements. Finally, amidst ‘pure’ excitement, Pure Café UP Club Hallwas born.
It is a great honour for the Pure Café team to now be a permanent fixture on the UP campus – and we look forward to bringing you the Pure Experience every day!
Best SPOT on campus
During the day, Banquet Hall serves as Pure Café’s àla carte seating area, with a dedicated service area for take-away drinks and deli table food or on-the-go grub. You will be spoilt for choice with the wide selection available… From freshly made smoothies for a healthy boost, to hot drinks made just the way you like it, and deli food lovingly prepared on-site every day. To top it off, try our homemade pies and cakes hot out of the oven. So, start the day right with a scrumptious breakfast, or recharge over lunch with a wrap, sarmie or other tasty options.
Find a spot on the deck in the sun, on our spacious veranda or linger inside Banquet Hall to savour your food.

At Pure Café, we pride ourselves on staying on top of the very latest foodie trends to ensure that you love your meal at our restaurant, or that your guests keep talking about your function for days afterwards. We use only the finest ingredients, and if eats like Fig and Brie wrapped with Brasaula Skewers, Salmon Mousse served on Zucchini Blinior Mieliebrood French Toast with Chorizo Butterdon’t make your mouth water, we don’t know what will!
